Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prep my files for print?
We prefer working files. Why? If you have edits, we can easily make the changes and keep your project moving. It also offers better control to ensure it is press ready.
What are working files? InDesign files, collected for output (includes fonts and links). All images and colors should be converted from RGB to CMYK (or PMS).
The second-best option is a high-res PDF with bleeds and crop marks. (High res is 300 dpi and bleeds are .125 inches on all sides.)
Is there a minimum order amount?
Absolutely not. We don’t encourage printing more than you need and producing waste.
We do, however, believe in informing our clients of what makes economic sense. For example, if you anticipate printing a repeat order in a month, we’ll analyze the cost difference of increasing your current quantity to possibly save you money in the long run.
If you don’t have room to store the overages, we have warehousing options. We also offer pick-n-pack to help you fulfill orders.
Many clients do short runs for prototyping, corporate materials for high-level meetings, or product launches.

How do I decide which paper to use for my job?
Paper choices are vast, but we make sure the process of choosing the right paper is as velvety smooth as our finest stock.
Our sales staff will educate you on options and can provide samples to assure your decision. Also, if your job is printing digital, your proof will be printed on the exact paper as your job.
